NXT GEN visits Ringwood
Since the disappointing 1-1 draw at Stamford Lions Reserves back in October, ICA have put together seven consecutive wins in all competitions, scoring 51 goals and conceding just 3, with Cameron Guest and Jamie Cogings scoring 36 of these. This brings their season totals in all competitions to 55—just 7 less than NXT GEN's entire total for the season.
NXT GEN are certainly a threat and have what it takes to rise through the divisions. Evidence of this is their narrow 2-1 loss to the unbeaten Thorpe Wood Rangers. They have the 3rd best goal difference, the 2nd most goals scored, and the 3rd best defence in the league. They’re also in the Junior Cup Semi-final. So, while it should be a close contest on paper, remember, football is played on grass.
In NXT GEN's last 7 games, they’ve had 3 losses, 4 wins, scored 29 goals, and conceded 12.
ICA Team news: Unfortunately, we have said goodbye to our skipper Scott Kinlan, who has an excellent opportunity to play for Yaxley first team, which he couldn’t turn down. Good luck, Kinners! We hope they give you a chance ?
2nd vs 3rd
This is an interesting fixture. Can FC Peterborough Development take points off the formidable Thorpe Wood? It's a big ask, but you never know.
Right then, it's the same every single week, ICA cannot afford to drop any more points—it's that simple. So, this should be a cracker.
